BLACKENED SHRIMP & BOUDIN STUFFED MUSHROOMS

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Large Pack of Baby Bella Mushrooms

  • 1/2 Block Cream Cheese

  • 1/2 Block of Pepper Jack Cheese, Shredded

  • 1/2 Stick Butter

  • 1lb Small - Medium Shrimp

  • 1lb Boudin

  • Chives, Diced

  • LouWe.siana Blends Blackened Cajun

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Set the oven to 350°

  2. Wash and dry the mushrooms and pulled out the stems.

  3. Cut casing off of the boudin and place in a bowl. Mix in cream cheese and most of the shredded pepper jack (save some for topping). Season mixture with LouWe.siana Blends Blackened Cajun

  4. Spray mushrooms with oil and spoon mixture into each. The fuller the better!

  5. Bake for 15 minutes at 350º.

  6. Season shrimp with LouWe.siana Blends Blackened Cajun and sear in skillet with 1/4 stick of butter until done.

  7. Remove shrimp from skillet and add the rest of the butter until melted.

  8. Once mushrooms are done, top with the rest of the pepper jack cheese and drizzle with melted butter. Broil until cheese in melted.

  9. Top mushrooms with a shrimp and diced chives. ENJOY!
